Abbraccio

Designed and realized for the first time in 1983, the Abbraccio vase is an elegant and sculptural highlight of the endless abilities of our Senior Silversmiths.
Entirely hand made, it is composed by two parts joined together by three poetic Murano glass elements. Each part of this Vase is hand curved, the openings are hand hammered, through traditional techniques that require several hours of work, assuring a unique aspect to every Piece. The name of this vase in Italian means ‘Hug’, as it is a poetic effort of several artisanal techniques, joint together by the love of craft and the passion for Silver.
Central Piece in Mesa’s production, it has always been produced in small batches of very few Pieces, it is still hand made today in the same way. Each Piece is strictly unique and is individually hand numbered.
